Inter Miami CF just pulled off a nail-biting 3-2 victory against Sporting Kansas City at the Arrowhead Stadium, packed to the brim with a record 72,000+ fans.
But it wasn't all smooth sailing. Sporting Kansas City drew first blood, sneaking in a goal just six minutes into the game. But Miami's own Diego Gómez had something to say about that. Coverting a stellar assist from Messi, Gómez slammed one home and leveled the score at 1-1.
Then came the magic hour. Messi himself unleashed a rocket of a shot with his left foot to put Inter Miami ahead. Talk about a captain leading by example!

But Sporting Kansas City wasn't ready to throw in the towel just yet. They clawed their way back leveling the score at 2-2 with a goal from Erik Thommy in the 58th minute.
Yet, it was Inter Miami who had the final say, as Luis Suárez capitalized on a perfectly delivered cross from Gómez in the 71st minute to seal the victory for his team.
